Panther 2 – Most powerful laptop ever? featuring 300w power supply!

EUROCOM have released a new laptop called the Panther 2 which is surely staking a solid claim to becoming the world's most powerful laptop ever released. It features 6 core Intel Xeon 5550/5600 series 4 and 6 core processors with SLI GTX 480M graphics card solutions.

How does 4.4TB of storage, 24GB of DDR3, with Xeon processors and GTX 480 running in SLI work for you? All of this takes some draw at the wall with a 300 watt power supply handling the feed. We would assume battery life is around 15 minutes !

If this sounds like your cup of tea and you have quite a few grand lying in a drawer somewhere then head over here and spec out your system. We managed to build a system costing well over £9,000 so be aware !

  1. Holy Shit, thats madness!!!! the spec list is off the chart. how the hell can they keep this cool????!!!

  2. Is this serious or a joke? there seems to be no way that system would even power on, it would run far too hot or make the noise of a banshee ? Seems ridiculously overpowered and totally NOT portable? battery life of 15 minutes sounds actually quite unrealistic. id say 5 minutes of gaming.

  3. They use fans, metal heatsinks, and tiny cooling pipes, as well as the base and shell like any other notebook ever made.
I’m not sure some ranting webnoob spewing insane exclamation points rates as “to be listened to” concering cooling capabilities over a multi hundred million dollar company actually offering the product with the included link.
Noted, and ignoring the insane spit spewing blather of the infantile reject emoticon posts.

  4. Seriously thinking about getting this for a main gaming rig with a cooling pad underneath. Why? Because I like the Idea of portable gaming system, Don’t like the lighting of a paticular room at a certain time of the day? I’ll just pick that bad boy up and move to the next room. Besides a 6 core laptop impresses me, yeah I know there’s an 8 core CPU by AMD on the market… But this is what I like.
