Gamescom ONL line-up includes Alan Wake 2 and Black Myth Wukong

Gamescom is one of the biggest annual industry events, with all manner of developers and publishers taking to the convention to announce and show off their in-development titles. One of the biggest showcases each year is Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live Kick-off. Ahead of the event’s 22nd of August debut, a number of exciting attendees have already been announced.

Streaming on the 22nd of august at 7pm BST, Geoff Keighley has revealed some of the games set to make an appearance during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase, saying:

“Alan Wake is in the dark place…don’t miss the brand new reveal from @alanwake 2 live during @gamescom Opening Night Live on Tuesday, August 22.”

That is not all, as the show’s creator then went on to confirm that the much-anticipated, highly-stylised and polished looking action-RPG Black Myth Wukong will also make an appearance, saying:

“Watch @gamescom: Opening Night Live for a world premiere new look at BLACK MYTH WUKONG on Tuesday, August 22.”

While pre-announcing some of the line-up does take a bit away from the surprise surrounding the live event itself, it is safe to assume that Keighley is still keeping some of his cards close to his chest. Regardless, both Alan Wake II and Black Myth Wukong have been greatly anticipated, and so it will be exciting to see new gameplay from both.
