Corsair is adding a new gaming mouse to its arsenal. The new Darkstar Wireless aims to suit gamers of all genres, offering an ergonomic build and six configurable side buttons surrounding your thumb for quick and easy access.
In total, the Darkstar Wireless has 15 reprogrammable buttons. Six of those are on the side, surrounding the area your thumb usually sits, allowing for quick access to shortcuts and macros.
The Darkstar Wireless offers versatile wireless connectivity options, including sub-1ms Splistream Wireless technology (2000Hz polling rate) or Bluetooth. Battery life tops out at up to 80 hours of use per charge. When the battery does run low, simply plug in the USB cable to keep playing while the mouse charges.
Under the hood, you will find a Corsair Marksman optical sensor with 26,000 DPI and users can set their DPI levels using single-step precision, so you can dial in the sensitivity to the exact level you want. The main mouse clickers also feature Corsair Quick Strike buttons, allowing for rapid-fire clicking without delay.
All the mouse settings, from sensitivity, macros, shortcuts and RGB lighting can be adjusted using Corsair iCUE. You can save up to five profiles directly on the mouse. so you only need to set it up once, and then your settings will carry over with the mouse to any system. The Darkstar Wireless is now available for €169.99.

KitGuru says: What do you all think of the Darkstar Wireless? Due to the layout, this isn't a left-handed friendly mouse, but even for right-handed users, it will be interesting to see whether or not they've left enough space for your thumb to sit comfortably without accidentally pressing buttons.
