Dual Camera iPad2 coming soon – predictions are true

Sometimes we get our predictions wrong, but more often than not we get them right. Kitguru said months ago that Apple were coming out with a dual camera iPad and Reuters have just announced that their insiders have confirmed the new design.

As everyone is already aware, the original iPad has been selling like hot cakes since it was released, generating billions of dollars of revenue for system giant Apple. Wintek are also involved in the new design, handling the touchscreen processing. As predicted this machine will be slimmer, faster and boast a higher resolution display. Many people have stated that they feel the current version is two big and a little bulky to carry around – causing other makers such as RIM and Samsung to release 7 inch tablets.

“I think Steve Jobs will announce the new product in January, and we should see the new product hitting shops in about April,” said Steven Tseng, an analyst at RBS.

Apple have yet to officially confirm or deny the latest reports to Reuters, but we wouldn't expect them to either.
