It is hard to escape the tablet craze in recent months, and CES seems to be a tablet showcase for a a multitude of manufacturers, such as LG and Motorola.
The Motorola tablet is called the Xoom – a 10.1 inch tablet which will run on the Verizon 4G LTE network. It ships with a 1GHZ CPU and offers 1080p high definition playback with an HDMI port to connect to televisions. There are front and rear facing cameras at 2MP and 5MP however availability seems to be tied into a later date in Q1 of 2011. Pricing has yet to be announced.
LG also announced their 4G tablet, the T-Mobile G-Slate. We have no information on the product yet, apart from the Android 3.0 OS installation for the operating systems. Release date will be also in Q1 of 2011.
