Over the past few months we have looked at quite a range of different products from SteelSeries, a few of which have been gaming headsets. They all scored well thanks to a combination of good performance and build quality leading to a number of awards being given out.
Today we are going to look at another of SteelSeries' headsets, the Siberia Neckband. This differs somewhat to what we have seen before from SteelSeries due to the neckband design which isn't often used for gaming headsets. One of the main features that stands off the page for us is the Xbox compatibility, something it shares with the SteelSeries Spectrum 5XB headset that we reviewed a few weeks back.
Specification

The Siberia Neckband is supplied in very similar packaging to that we've seen before from SteelSeries. This is no bad thing at all as it is both attractively designed and robust enough to withstand negligent couriers during transit. SteelSeries have cut a large window into the front of the box which lets us see the headset inside. Turning the box over reveals a plethora of information about the headset inside in a few different languages.
As usual, SteelSeries have included a generous selection of accessories inside the box so that you can get the most out of the Siberia Neckband. Alongside the expected SteelSeries manual, we find an extension cable for use with a desktop PC and an adapter for Xbox 360 compatibility.
Seems ok, but the last steelseries mouse I bought fell apart. I loved the ikari but tis hard to find now. I think the xai was a step down.
Looks a good product. Shame about the fitting, but perhaps you have an odd shaped head :p
