MSI 10 inch WindPad Tablet – HDMI and twin camera

MSI are due to release their new WindPad 10 inch tablet for just under 600 euros. This product features Windows 7 and will be running on Intel's 1.6ghz Atom Z530 processor.

The WindPad will be running at 1024×600 resolution and includes 2GB of memory and a 32GB SSD storage device. Connectivity is impressive, with WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and two cameras mounted front and rear. We particularly like the inclusion of an HDMI port (mini) and MSI have added USB as well.

Is Windows 7 a better platform than Android for a tablet? We aren't sold yet, although businessmen will surely prefer the Microsoft OS. Time will tell.

MSI are also offering a 24 month warranty with the product for peace of mind.
