The Apple rumour mill never rests, latest reports in yesterday indicate that the next generation iPhone is in the pipeline and will come with a bigger screen.
The reason for Apple to increase the screen size is to match the growing Android market which already features larger screen sizes. The new iPhone is due for release this summer and will apparently be outfited with a 4 inch screen. Digitimes have also reported on this but have no confirmation of the component suppliers.
Bloomberg have also reported that Apple are working on a new line of iPhones, one of which could be cheaper and smaller than the most recent iPhone. The report has cited a source who has seen a prototype. Google's mobile operating system is said to be the intended target for the new device.
The Wall Street Journal also published a similar report a few days ago saying that Apple have been considering using the MobileMe platform as a digital storage location were iTunes users can store electronic books, songs and movies. This would tie in with the rumour that Apple are reducing the iPhones memory capacity.
Latestly, a Taiwanese blog, Apple pro has said that they have hands on information pointing to three different models being considered for final production as the retail iPhone 5. One has a physical keyboard which slides out and another is very like the iPhone 4, but with a longer lasting battery and a better camera.
