MSI release two new AMD notebooks – CR650 and Wind U270

MSI have released two new NoteBooks which feature the latest generations of AMD processor, the U270 and CR650. Both of these systems include the latest AMD dual core E350 processor. As regular readers of KitGuru will already be aware these APR processors feature a X86 core and Radeon HD6310 graphics with Direct X 11 support.

This 15.6” MSI CR650 is the perfect on-the-go notebook which combines reliability with elegancy. This notebook has a battery  life up to 5+ hours thanks to its unique technologies. One of these technologies is Turbo Battery+, which maximizes the battery life by letting the user shut down unnecessary applications and hardware. The long battery life combined with the high quality SRS PC Sound Technology and the High Definition camera delivers maximum enjoyment while working on-the-go.

The Turbo Battery+ shortcut allows you to control your multi-media with a mouse. A single click lets you control the Bluetooth, wireless devices, and camera, allowing you to shut off power to idle applications, thereby extending battery time. This 12” MSI U270 is the perfect on-the-go notebook which combines performance and elegancy. This notebook offers an optimal usage thanks to its ± 8 hours of battery life. The MSI U270 is equipped with full I/O support incl. HDMI, which makes it compatible with all of your other modern devices. Next to its USB 3.0 port which makes it possible to exchange data up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, this MSI U270 is equipped with a HD camera or high quality entertainment wherever you are.

The Wind U270 comes with a comfortable 12-inch display with 16:9 ratio. It tips the scales at just 1.3 kilos and is less than one-inch thin. In addition, it comes with MSI's exclusive ECO power-saving design which allows the battery to last more than twice as long as those in conventional laptops. It is also sheathed in colour print which is not only stylish, but protects the Wind U270 against smudging and wear.

The U270 also features a complete array of I/O ports, including USB 3.0 which transfers multi-media files at 4.8Gbps, ten times faster than USB 2.0. Furthermore, the MSI i-charger recharges USB devices more than three times faster than USB 2.0, massively cutting the amount of time needed for recharging.
