The National Enquirer have published a story which indicates that Steve Jobs has only six weeks left to live. Apple CEO Jobs has stepped down from active duty in Apple HQ, although rumours were circulating that he was working from home when possible, helping to steer new designs and upcoming product development.
While many people (ourselves included) don't often believe what the National Enquirer write, we all know that Steve Jobs is really ill. He has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has been seen looking very ill in recent weeks. The Enquirer posted photographs of him outside the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, California.
The Stanford Cancer Center is the place that Patrick Swayze went for treatment in the weeks leading up to his death. Jobs is such an integral part of Apple, that even rumours of his illness can damage company shares.
In 2008, he received a liver transplant and in recent months he did appear to be fairing well, although his absense and time off work recently has indicated that he is very ill.
KitGuru says: Pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly cancers and we really do wish him all the best.
I would not like it if he died. Call him what you like and i’ve done the same but he has really given everyone a new direction whether your a consumer or not.
People like this in influential positions are needed because they don’t just drive innovation. They set standards.
I wish him all the best, but it does sound like he doesn’t have long to live. His death will be a loss to the industry. (But a few people in the industry might sigh a sigh of relief.)
Steve Jobs is a Teutonic Knight who is an absolute servant of the Papacy, just like Bill Gates. Both of these demons will burn in hell.
