Apple top Fortune’s ‘most admired Companies’ list for 4th year

For the fourth year in a row, Apple have topped the Fortune ‘World's most admired company list'. Apple can seemingly do no wrong with the public, even after high profile issues, such as the antenna problem on the iPhone 4.

With enigmatic CEO Steve Jobs on indefinite leave due to health reasons, the company future looks a little shaky to many analysts, but Jobs has assured the market that Apple are still firing on all cylinders.

The proof is in the sales figures. Apple have doubled their quarterly profits when compared against a year ago and with the imminent release of the iPad 2, we can not only see new customers buying the tablet, but a substantial portion of the current owners group will sell the original iPad to fund a purchase of the new product. Steve Jobs made a surprise appearance at the launch, which helped public moral.

With Apple's recent partnership with Verizon, and availabilty of the iPhone 4 on their network, this has helped sales, especially with many complaints against AT&T for dropped calls.

Google make an appearance in second place, with Coca-Cola and Amazon, in 6th and 7th places respectively.
