Toshiba have a new tablet which has just been listed on Amazon's website – it is not yet available, but Amazon are offering user alerts for when the time is close at hand.
The tablet is a 10.1 inch unit with 720p support (1280×800 in this case), so therefore higher resolution than Apple iPad, which is 1024×768. There is the new Honeycomb Android operating system installed, and the device is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor.
There is also a dual camera configuration with a 2MP at front and a 5MP at the rear, which can record HD 720p video content.
All other extras are included, such as WiFi, BlueTooth, accelerometer, gyroscope, ecompas, GPS and SD card slot along with a USB 2.0 port, and a mini USB port, with HDMI out.
Toshiba will also be promoting their ‘Toshiba Places' application store, although you can access the official Android Market, and the new upcoming Amazon App Store as it uses the Android Operating System.
Availability has not yet been confirmed, and the UK will be some time later, but if you are interested you could probably import it over. You can check out the page here.
KitGuru says: No pricing information yet either, but it won't be cheap.
