nVidia have announced that they are losing their chief financial officer David White with corporate controller Karen Burns due to take over his position until a full time replacement can be made.
White's departure from the company has been said to be for ‘personal reasons', and the companies high profile chief executive Jen Hsun Huang has thanked White for ‘his many contributions' to the graphics powerhouse company.
Huang said “I'm grateful for the counsel and leadership [White] has provided, I want to thank David for his many contributions to Nvidia.” White is staying in his position until the end of May.
Karen Burns takes over his position, having had ten years experience in Nvidia's tax department and nine more at accountancy firm KPMG.
Huang added “Karen is a broadly respected veteran of Nvidia and knows our business well, Her experience, her understanding of our business and her leadership will be a tremendous asset to us during this transition.”
KitGuru says: We wish David all the success in the future. He was at the company during a very successful transition period into the CPU market with Tegra.
As Bon Jovi said ‘its all the same, only the names will change’.
Wiser words have never been said. lol.
