The AMD HD6790 launch was yesterday and HIS have released their modified version, the IceQ X with the famous blue cooler which KitGuru has reviewed before on other cards. Very good it is too.
Like all other HD6790's at this point, the card is sold at reference clocks, 840mhz on the core and 4,200 mhz effective on the 1GB of GDDR5.
We can expect to see a good 7-8 C improvement over the reference design, much like the Sapphire HD6790 with custom cooler that KitGuru reviewed yesterday.
KitGuru says: We always like to see graphics cards with custom coolers and it seems that AMD have been more lenient with their launch day HD6790 range, always a positive.
