Asus P8P67 Deluxe Motherboard (B3) Review (QuadFireX @ 4.8ghz)

Rating: 9.0.

For the mainstream gaming enthusiast audience, today's review product is both feature packed and attractively priced. The Asus P8P67 Deluxe is a 16+2 phase DIGI+ VRM design which fully supports Intel's VRD12 specifications. There are three PCI Express x16 slots and a PLX PEX8608 chip to add 8 additional PCI Express lanes so bandwidth isn't impacted when USB 3 and SATA 6 GBps devices are used in Crossfire or SLI configurations.

KitGuru has been using the latest B3 revision now for many weeks within a real world test bench and today we present our analysis.

Asus have a well earned reputation as creating some of the world's finest motherboards.

For instance, we recently reviewed their Rampage III Black Edition, and it is possibly the finest X58 motherboard available on the market. The P8P67 Deluxe we are looking at today is a much more modestly priced product, but it is fully feature packed.

MSI Shenzhen Factory Tour – how Z890 motherboards are made!

KitGuru recently flew out to China, where we met Ethan Yang, the vice president for MSI Shenzhen’s manufacturing plant. He gave us a tour of his factory facility just as they were going through the process of building the first Z890 Tomahawk motherboards, so we thought we'd bring our readers along for the ride!

  1. ASUS rock, nuff’ said.

  2. I really do like the new bios configurations, the change from the pants style blue screen was long overdue.

  3. The biggest problem with buying P67 right now is Z68. Is a newer product. no one will be buying until its released. even if its pointless, which I have a feeling it is.

  4. Asus make good boards, its all about the bios stability and power delivery and this product has both.

  5. Good product, but the pricing just keeps creeping up on these boards, everytime I look, its £10 more for xx feature. I remember last year a good board was £120-130.

  6. I always buy asus boards but im waiting to see z68

  7. The auto overclock optioms are good cause i suck at overcockimg. Is 1.48 volts safe enough long term, seems high

  8. I like the power configurations now, mobo manufacturers got wise in recent years

  9. I ordered one of these a while back and got it replaced for the b3 version, had no problems from scan.

Great board, ive my 2500 at 4.7 with a coolermaster cooler

  10. They are expenisve in my country, gigabyte are normally better value

  11. i really love Asus you’ll find almost all you need in there products, Quality & performance thats what they have.
