The Elder Scrolls Online will be free to claim on EGS next week

While it isn't always making headlines, The Elder Scrolls Online continues to be a popular MMO to this day, with a dedicated player base returning each year for new content. If you're looking to scratch the MMO itch, then next week will be a good time to jump in, as The Elder Scrolls Online is now free to claim on the Epic Games Store.

Next week's free Epic Games Store titles have now been announced. Between the 20th of July and the 27th of July, users will be able to claim The Elder Scrolls Online and Murder by Numbers. These games will both replace Train Valley 2, which is the current free game available through EGS.

The Elder Scrolls Online first released in 2014 and has only grown since. At this point, the game has a ton of expansions, with Zenimax Online typically dropping a new one every year. The most recent expansion, Necrom, just launched on June 5th. While the base game is free via the Epic Games Store, players will have to purchase the expansions afterwards.

Murder by Numbers on the other hand is a puzzle game from Mediatonic, the studio best known for Fall Guys. The game first released in 2020 and has very positive reviews on Steam. It is a simple detective story, in which players have to solve puzzles to find clues.
