Apple are offering free replacements for the bottom panel for some of their Macbook computers. Apple have said that there is a problem with some of the machines when the rubber surface separates from the case – but fear not because they will be replacing the parts free of charge for an unlimited period of time.
The replacement can be handled in store via a ‘genius' or via an authorised repair company who will order and replace the parts free of charge. The parts can also be sent to the end user with a complimentary screwdriver, screws and full instructions.
Apple are saying that the machines were sold between 2009 and 2011 and if they are suffering from the ‘saggy arse' problem, then they qualify for the free replacement.
KitGuru says: Has your machine got a dodgy rear end? let us know.
Is this just on the macbooks or macbook pros as well?
