iPhone 5 due for September release, in final test phase

According to sources in Taipei, it appears that next iPhone will be released in September this year. Industry sources indicate that the final testing stage is underway meaning that the product is ready to be given the goahead for mass production.

Other sources such as 9to5Mac claim that the iPhone 5 is ready for an Autumn launch. Reuters detailed a similar timeline back in April.

Apple Inc suppliers will begin production of its next-generation iPhone in July this year, with the finished product likely to begin shipping in September, three people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

KitGuru says: If this time frame is correct then Apple can expect a huge boost in revenue in Q4 as their audience base sell current phones and upgrade to the new model.
