Assassin’s Creed Revelations delisted from Steam with no explanation

Ubisoft has had an interesting relationship with Steam. In the past many months we have seen Ubisoft commit itself to bringing its previously Epic Games Store exclusive titles to Steam with the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Roller Champions, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and more added to the storefront slowly but surely. In the wake of the recently announced Ubisoft Connect revamp, Assassin’s Creed Revelations has been delisted from Steam.

As discovered by ResetEra user ‘dex3108’ the Steam page for Assassin’s Creed Revelations has added a new notice which says “Assassin’s Creed Revelations is no longer available on the Steam Store”. Interestingly, all the DLC for the game is still available to purchase.

After spending years away from Steam, Ubisoft began to finally bring its back catalogue of titles to the platform. As such, it is odd to see that games are once again being removed. Of course, it is worth noting that this could be a simple error, or the game could be set to be relisted soon, but without explicit explanation from Ubisoft all we can do is speculate.

As mentioned, Ubisoft recently announced that they are revamping their own PC client, and so perhaps the removal of older Ubisoft titles has something to do with it? Hopefully not.
