Kitguru has been reporting for weeks on various attacks by Anonymous and Lulzsec. After the initial Anonymous attacks on Sony, it seems as if Lulzsec want the the majority of the press with various high profile intrusions in recent weeks on various companies. During the week they posted 62,000 users online, and recently they started their own phone hotline for suggestions on potential targets.
Lulzsec have attacked Sony, News Corp, the U.S. Senate and many others this year and it seems they want the public to intervene in their latest campaigns, opening a phone line so the public can call them with suggestions on who they should attack next.
Calling their number, you are presented with a message “We are not available right now as we are busy raping your Internet. Leave a message and we will get back to you whenever we feel like,” a voice-mail answering machine at 614-LULZSEC said.
This very number was posted on their Twitter channel to their 150,000 followers and has since been circulated via many of the press organisations and bulletin boards.
Their website Lulzsecurity says:
Hello, good day, and how are you? Splendid! We're LulzSec, a small team of lulzy individuals who feel the drabness of the cyber community is a burden on what matters: fun. Considering fun is now restricted to Friday, where we look forward to the weekend, weekend, we have now taken it upon ourselves to spread fun, fun, fun, throughout the entire calender year.
Kitguru says: We aren't really sure that everyone would agree they are ‘spreading fun', especially Howard Stringer.
