Apple are apparently in talks to bid for the video streaming service Hulu, according to sources close to Bloomberg.
They were unwilling to reveal the source under claims that the person is not authorised to talk about the subject.
According to the report, Hulu offer a subscription streaming service which could help Apple iTunes compete with Netfix. The service is able to source revenue from advertisements which are supplied with content to users, free of charge.
The owners of Hulu have an extensive portfolio of organisations, such as Comcast Corp, The Walt Disney Co and News Corp. They offered their financial information to potential bidders late last month after levels of interest were seen as high.
Kitguru says: As yet, no financial details of any bids have been released.
