Zuckerberg: an eccentric billionaire?

Zuckerberg is quickly becoming one of the industries younger ‘eccentric' personalities and his latest claim will certainly only be enhancing his status as being seen as a ‘little odd'.

The young multi billionaire says that he likes to set himself challenges and this time he claims he is only going to eat meat from animals he has killed himself. Zuckerberg says that since taking this vow that he has basically turned into a vegetarian. Well, not quite, but almost.

Obviously his platform of choice for discussing this is Facebook, and he has been talking about how his progress is going for the last year. He did recently upload a picture of a chicken after he had killed it and then a series of dishes he had made out of it.

Zuckerberg: blogging about killing animals for food

Zuckerberg was not alone with this new ‘kill my own meat' project, and he received some help from friend Jesse Cool who gave him advise on how to kill the animal and even introduced him to farm owners who supplied it.

Zuckerberg told Fortune “I think many people forget that a living being has to die for you to eat meat, so my goal revolves around not letting myself forget that, and being thankful for what I have. This year I've basically become a vegetarian, since the only meat I'm eating is from animals I've killed myself. So far, this has been a good experience. I'm eating a lot healthier foods and I've learned a lot about sustainable farming and [the] raising of animals.”

KitGuru says: Amazing how a billionaire CEO can turn something so uninteresting into a topic of conversation.
