SIFU’s final update adds 75 new challenges and much more

SIFU was one of 2022’s more unique titles, offering an in-depth arena-style fighting/brawling game with interesting mechanics such as its aging system. The game has gone on to sell more than 2 million copies, undoubtedly aided by Sloclap’s commitment to offering free updates. Speaking of, the team have now officially teased their final major update for the game, bringing half a dozen arenas, 75 new challenges and more.

Making the announcement via a teaser trailer, the team at Sloclap detailed some of the additions coming with the final update later this year in September, saying:

“How many lives did it take you to get this far? How much have you grown since you first stepped into the Wuguan? Sifu's Final Update comes free with 2 new wicked outfits, 6 story-inspired Arenas, 27 cheats and modifiers to spice your gameplay up, and a whopping 75 additional challenges to push your limits even further beyond. Get ready to put sweat, blood and tears in to triumph over the toughest challenges in Title Update 5. Do you have what it takes to come out victorious? Your final trials await you next September on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.”

SIFU was already a solid and highly fun game upon its initial release back in February 2022. Since then, the game has only gone from strength to strength, adding a whole host of new features – most notably the Arenas mode. With this upcoming free update, SIFU will have reached its final form. It will be exciting to see all the new additions.
