Gigabyte just revealed the first trio of Gaming GS monitors. These will succeed the older G-series from 2020, featuring SuperSpeed VA panels capable of 170Hz and 180Hz refresh rates. The current lineup will range between 27 and 32 inches in size and include FHD and QHD models.
The first model, the Gigabyte GS32QC, features a 31.5-inch Super Speed VA panel with a 1500R curvature, 1ms MPRT, and QHD resolution. It offers 109% coverage of the sRGB colour space and supports 8-bit colour depth. The monitor has a typical brightness of 300 nits and a static contrast ratio of 3500:1. With a native refresh rate of 165Hz (overclockable to 170Hz), it supports Adaptive-Sync technology and AMD FreeSync Premium. The display is also Eyesafe 2.0 certified. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input with HBR2, and a headphone jack. The included stand is limited to tilt adjustments from -5° to +20°.
The second monitor is the Gigabyte GS27QC. It shares similar features with the GS32QC, but in a smaller 27-inch size. It also has a 1500R curved VA panel with QHD resolution, covering 108% of the sRGB colour space and supporting 8-bit colour depth. The GS27QC offers a 1 ms MPRT, a brightness of 250 nits, and a static contrast ratio of 4000:1. The native refresh rate is 165Hz, which can be pushed to 170Hz via Overdrive. It includes Adaptive-Sync support with AMD FreeSync Premium, Eyesafe 2.0 certification, and various features like Aim Stabilizer, Black Equalizer, Crosshair, GameAssist, and Super Resolution. The connectivity options and tilt adjustment range are the same as on the GS32QC.
Lastly, there's the Gigabyte GS27FC, featuring a 27-inch Super Speed VA panel with a 1500R curvature, 1ms MPRT, and FHD resolution. It covers 108% of the sRGB colour space and supports 8-bit colour depth. The monitor has a typical brightness of 250 nits and a static contrast ratio of 3000:1. The native refresh rate is 180Hz, offering a smooth gaming experience. It includes the same features as the other models, such as Adaptive-Sync support with AMD FreeSync Premium and Eyesafe 2.0 certification. The connectivity options and tilt adjustment range are identical to the GS27QC and GS32QC.
