Xbox and Bethesda confirm plans to attend Gamescom 2023

The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase brought along a ton of announcements in June, including a new in-depth look at Starfield ahead of its September launch. Microsoft does not plan on slowing down now, with plans to attend Gamescom this year.

Gamescom has been growing over the last few years. Microsoft has appeared at Gamescom in previous years and it has just announced plans to return for Gamescom 2023. Both Xbox and Bethesda teams will be at the event and with Starfield coming out just a couple of weeks after the event, there is a chance that attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on time with the game.

While Microsoft hasn't unveiled all its plans for Gamescom, we know that there will be Xbox and Bethesda areas of the show floor. Whether or not Microsoft will make some new announcements at the event remains to be seen, but we wouldn't expect another big blowout so soon after the summer showcase.

Aside from Starfield, Microsoft will also likely be going big on Forza Motorsport, as the next-gen racing sim is finally set to hit Xbox consoles and PC in October.
