Steve Jobs will forever be known as one of the most successful CEO's of all time. His father, who gave him up for adoption 56 years ago has been trying to get in touch, before it is ‘too late'.
Abdulfattah John Jandali, now 80 has said that he has been trying to speak to his son for the first time, before he could die from cancer. He told the Telegraph newspaper that he has been overcome with guilt for abandoning the Apple leader and claimed that he wasn't after any money. Steve Jobs is worth many billions of dollars.
His comments were made after Steve Jobs announced he was stepping down as CEO of Apple, which many people are saying is due to his worsening health. Recent photographs of Jobs would indicate that he is losing the battle with cancer.
Jandali said “This might sound strange, though, but I am not prepared, even if either of us was on our deathbeds, to pick up the phone to call him. Steve will have to do that, as the Syrian pride in me does not want him ever to think I am after his fortune.”
Kitguru says: Will Jobs ever make amends with his biological father or are the wounds still too deep?
