HTC has launched its latest VR headset, the Vive Focus Vision. Aimed at gamers and business clients, the new Vive Focus Vision VR headset builds upon the Vive Focus 3 platform, introducing visual and comfort improvements and enhanced operational efficiency, including features oriented to scenarios with multiple users.
The Vive Focus Vision has a DisplayPort mode for PCVR, enabling lossless image quality when connected directly to a PC graphics card. This mode ensures that users can experience content as intended, without any loss of quality, making it an ideal choice for PCVR enthusiasts and corporate users seeking a top-tier experience.
Furthermore, the Vive Focus Vision offers integrated eye tracking and motorized auto-IPD (interpupillary distance) adjustment, allowing for seamless headset sharing among multiple users while ensuring optimal viewing experiences for each individual. It also includes dual 16 MP colour cameras for stereoscopic passthrough, which enhances mixed reality experiences, providing users with authentic depth perception while wearing the headset.
In addition to these features, the Vive Focus Vision boasts a 5K resolution across both eyes, a depth sensor for scene identification, and an infrared sensor for improved tracking in low-light conditions. The headset also features a redesigned cooling system and a built-in sub-battery to ensure uninterrupted usage during battery changes.
Pre-orders are available until October 17th. Those who pre-order it will get a Vive Wired Streaming Kit and one game pack (PC VR Wild Pack, PC VR Epic Pack, or MR Fun Pack).
