Assassin’s Creed Mirage finally comes to Steam this month

After years of releasing all its titles first on the Epic Games Store as well as its own launcher, Ubisoft have finally confirmed that they will begin to publish their games day-and-date on Steam, starting with next year’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Ahead of this however, the only AC title not yet on Valve’s platform (Assassin’s Creed Mirage), is finally coming to Steam this month.

In celebrating the game’s 1 year anniversary, Ubisoft took to Twitter to confirm that the most recent entry in the AC franchise is finally coming to Steam, saying:

“Assassin's Creed Mirage is coming to Steam later this month. Add the game to your wishlist now! As we celebrate one year since launch, we can't wait to welcome more fans to our back to the roots experience set in 9th century Baghdad.”

Ubisoft have not yet given an official release date for Mirage, with the Steam page simply stating that it will arrive in October. Additionally, no price has been listed for the game.

Mirage Steam

Upon its initial launch, Assassin’s Creed Mirage was slightly cheaper than most AAA titles, costing £44.99, however the game is currently on sale for just £22.49 – and so we will see what Ubisoft chooses to list Mirage for on Steam when it arrives some time later this month.

As expected however, when the game does finally launch it’ll unfortunately include the now-infamous Denuvo DRM – so make sure to keep that in mind.
