ARCTIC is pleased to introduce the 120 mm add-on module fan for its passive VGA cooler – the S1 PLUS Turbo Module. At just a low noise level of 0.25 Sone, the S1 PLUS Turbo Module in combination with the passive VGA cooler Accelero S1 PLUS can attain much higher cooling capacity which maximizes the performance of VGA cards demanded by gaming today.
Besides striving for better graphic performance, the S1 PLUS Turbo Module enables the Accelero S1 PLUS to cool various high-end VGA cards including the AMD Radeon HD 6870. With its flexible rubber-pin mounting, the S1 PLUS Turbo Module can also be applied onto the Accelero S1 Rev.2 for enhanced cooling performance. The included thermal compound MX-4 can help refresh the thermal conductivity between the GPU and the copper plate on the passive VGA cooler.
The S1 PLUS Turbo Module also comes with a six-year limited warranty.

Am i missing something why would you want to put a fan on a passive cooler? isnt it defeatring the purpose of passive cooling in the first place?
@Nester
Nobody has come up with fanless solutions, as far as i know, for cards like the 6870, as a result, the only way this cooler could works on such cards would be to add a fan. Anyways the fan seems slow enough so it won’t be that noisy when compared to stock video card fan.
