Back during Summer Game Fest, Capcom announced that the upcoming co-op dinosaur shooter Exoprimal would be getting a number of crossovers with other Capcom franchises starting with Street Fighter 6. Now, the publisher has unveiled the game’s second crossover: a collab with Monster Hunter.
Ahead of the game’s release on the 14th of July, Capcom held an Exoprimal showcase where they announced the game’s second crossover: Monster Hunter. Alongside this, they also showed off the game’s roadmap, revealing that Season 1 will add the ‘Savage Gauntlet’ and 10 Alpha variant exosuits. Season 2 will bring a new map, rigs, modules and more – but most importantly will see the Street Fighter 6 collab go live in October.
The Monster Hunter crossover meanwhile won’t go live until January 2024 during Season 3 (which will also add Beta variant exosuits, new enemies and more). With 3 seasons of content already planned it seems as though Capcom is putting a good amount of faith in Exoprimal. Hopefully players find the game worth coming back to time and time again. We will have to wait and see.
