Job listing hints at Day-1 PC release for upcoming first-party PlayStation title

Late last year Sony’s London Studio announced that they are working on a currently untitled online co-op game set in a fantasy version of London. Little else has been shared officially otherwise – that said a new job listing has revealed PlayStation’s launch plans for the upcoming live-service game.

As reported by Tech4Gamers, a new job listing posted by Sony’s PlayStation London Studio for the role of ‘Senior/Principal Combat Designer’ lists the scope of work as including “the design of a well-balanced roster of Heroes” perhaps suggesting some sort of Overwatch or Outriders-like plan with heroes having different sets of abilities.

Even more interesting is the Experience/Knowledge section which asks applicants to have “experience delivering large scale combat features, preferably on PC and Console” – hinting at the game possibly releasing day-1 on PC.

Sony has in the past claimed that they plan on bringing their live service games to PC at the same time as PlayStation. This has yet to come to fruition, however that is due to the fact that Sony have yet to release any of the announced live-service games. It will be interesting to see what Sony’s London Studio has cooking.
