While many Android fans may be focused on the upcoming and reportedly delayed Samsung Galaxy S III we still cannot ignore HTC's own smartphones. Their upcoming flagship is rumoured to be the HTC Endeavour (referred to as the Edge in this article) and is destined to be powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 chipset.
The 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU is backed up by a 4.7 inch 720p display, 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage plus a MicroSD slot is likely.
Camera wise there will be a high quality 8 MP f/2.2 lens and 1080p video recording. The Endeavour will also have an unspecified front facing camera. There will also be quad-band 3G support and for some of our American readers there will likely be a LTE version.
The Endeavour will come running on the lastest Android iteration, Ice Cream Sandwich, with HTC's custom interface Sense running over the top.
The upcoming flagship Android from HTC will be announced at Mobile World Congress later this month with retail availability beginning later this year.
Kitguru says: I am genuinely excited to see who wins the battle for the best Android smartphone; the Endeavour or the Galaxy S III. It is only a matter of time before we get to find out for ourselves.
