Bethesda to host Starfield fan Q&A on Discord

While we have gotten a decent chunk of information on Bethesda Game Studios’ upcoming Sci-Fi RPG Starfield, many lingering questions still remain ahead of the game’s launch on the 6th of September. As such, the team at BGS will be offering “a Constellation exclusive Dev Q&A” directly addressing fan questions.

For a while now, those excited for Starfield have been able to join ‘Constellation’ – essentially a mailing list. As part of this however, those who have signed up and are subscribed to the Bethesda Game Studios Discord Channel will soon have the opportunity to get their Starfield questions answered, with the team taking to Twitter to say:

“One week from today – a Constellation exclusive Dev Q&A [will be taking place]!” adding that “Once you have access to the Constellation Discord channels, ask your #Starfield questions in the post in #constellation-questions by August 11 for a chance of having them answered!”

This isn’t the first time that Microsoft have hosted such a Q&A, with a similar format being devised for the then-upcoming Redfall from Arkane Austin. In that instance, many fans were left dissatisfied by the devs’ answers, both in terms of the number of questions answered, and the depth of the responses.

Hopefully this Starfield Q&A will go into much greater detail – especially as the scope of the game itself is much grander than that of Redfall. Assuming the developers do directly engage with the questions asked, then this upcoming Q&A could offer a bunch of new and exciting details. We will have to wait and see.
