Xbox unveils the Summer Collection of colourful accessories

Last spring, Xbox released its first Summer Collection of accessories, made up of a number of gaming peripherals in soft colours. This year, we're getting a second edition of this collection following a similar approach with eye-catching designs.

The new Designed for Xbox Summer Collection 2023 offers up seven products to help Xbox players stand out from the crowd. Made by a selection of Xbox partners, each item has a unique style that will make your setup a bit more colourful.

Audeze has made a stylish, limited-edition “Ultraviolet” version of their popular Maxwell game headset for this year's collection. An electroplating process was used to carefully add a colour-shifting finish to the ear cups and collar of the Maxwell headset for the collection. The result is a gorgeously one-of-a-kind look.

The Audeze Maxwell Ultraviolet Edition wireless headset features Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio, Dolby Atmos, and AI Noise Filtering to improve your wireless gaming experience. With huge 90mm planar drivers and an 80-hour battery life, on paper these sound fantastic, and you can pre-order these right away for $329.

The new PowerA Advantage wired controller for Xbox Series X|S has a unique purple sparkle design. Taking inspiration from a deep-space nebula, it has swirls of purple and gold that shine and look like stars. This controller has two Advanced Gaming buttons that you can programme on the fly, as well as 3-way trigger locks that let you set the trigger level for each game. Besides Xbox Series consoles, the controller also works on Windows 10 and Windows 11. The device is backed by a 2-year guarantee and costs $37.99.

Hyperkin recreated the original Xbox 360 Controller for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10|11 PCs. The Xenon has precise analogue triggers, a share button for Xbox Series X|S, vibration input to make games feel more real, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a removable 3-metre Type-C cable. These controllers will release on July 24th, starting at $49.99.

Additionally, there are the PDP Frosted Diamond and Australian Opal rematch controllers. Boasting enhanced features like dual rumbles, impulse triggers, remappable buttons, built-in audio controllers and laser-etched texture on grips, triggers and thumbsticks, PDP's Summer Collection controllers are an upgrade over you standard Xbox controller. These controllers are now available for $39.99.

Lastly, Western Digital is also present in the latest Xbox Summer Collection with a WD_Black D30 external SSD drive. This 1TB external SSD is committed to delivering a premium experience, offering transfer speeds of up to 900MB/s and being backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
