Leo Unboxes AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D: Banned outside the USA!

AMD introduced us to the idea of 3D Cache, or V-Cache, when they launched the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The massive extra L3 cache gave the Ryzen 7 huge performance in gaming and it came as no surprise when AMD repeated the trick with three of their Zen 4 CPUs, including the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

Recently, however, AMD took us unawares when they launched the Ryzen 5 5600X3D which is, as the name suggests, a six-core Zen 3 CPU with 3D Cache that uses the AM4 socket. This cheap upgrade for AMD gamers is only available in-store at Micro Center which means you have to visit one of 25 locations in the USA. ‘Pah,' we thought, ‘we'll ask Level 1 Techs to help out…' and in the twinkling of an eye UPS delivered our very own USA-only Ryzen 5 5600X3D.

KitGuru Games: Omni-movement culminates 30 years of FPS innovation

Black Ops 6 is officially here, bringing the innovative new Omni-movement system to the game. While on the surface a relatively simple change, I argue that Treyarch intimately studied DOOM and the past 30 years of first-person shooter evolution to craft one of the most satisfying gameplay systems yet.
