Thermaltake powers up your in-car options

Once upon a time, the charger port in your car was only used to power the lighter. Then the mobile phone was invented and, suddenly, everyone wants a go at the hole. Thermaltake has a solution coming soon. KitGuru zooms in for a closer look.

The first week in March has been the home of Europe's biggest technology show for two decades. While it might not be the 2 week long giant it once was, CeBIT still commands millions of dollars in stand revenue and a lot of visitors. Many of them will have cars and spend time driving multiple people around – including kids on the back seat.

So, at the dawn of the launch of the iPad 3, how do we manage to run a pair of iPads slung over the headrests in the back?

Cue the Thermaltake TriP Snow Edition. It promises to be a simple, low-cost solution to your mobile power needs.

Two way is cool, but three way would really float our boat

KitGuru says: Neat idea, but we can't help thinking that 3 ports would be more useful. Wonder if these can usefully be daisy-chained? Price and availability to follow.
