Steve Jobs would be proud of his successor Tim Cook. The latest Apple CEO claimed the top spot in a survey of highest rated CEO's complied by career site Glassdoor.
Cook achieved a staggering 97 percent approval rating, which matched Job's score of 97 percent when he stepped down in August 2011. The Apple leadership are known to be the best in the technology industry, always a step ahead of the competition.
The list of the top 25 highest rated CEOs is based entirely on feedback from employees who have been asked one survey question “Do you approve of the way your CEO is leading the company?”
Glassdoor have had 280,000 ratings listed in the last year. Google CEO Larry Page placed third on the list with a 94 percent approval rating, which is 2 points less than previous CEO Eric Schmidt. Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs scored a 95 percent approval rating an increase of seven points from the previous survey period.
Intel CEO made the top list, scoring 93 percent in the rating approval list.
Troubled Hewlett Packard CEO Meg Whitman, scored 80 percent in the ratings, which is 13 points more than previous leader Leo Apotheker. She is the only woman who made the top ten list of CEO's. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was one behind in tenth place, holding a 79 percent approval rating, dropping 5 places since the previous survey.
