Samsung’s countdown to “The Next Galaxy” begins

It is now under two weeks to go until the May 3rd event in London and we will “meet the next Galaxy” and the first evidence of a marketing campaign has appeared. Samsung's Twitter feed directed us in the direction of tgeltaayehxnx, an angram for “The Next Galaxy”, where there is a countdown that will reach zero at midday UK time today.

Samsung will unveil the next step in just over 5 hours

When the clock ticks over to zero we already know it won't be a unveiling of the Galaxy S II successor but we can expect some more teasers that we have seen so many times before; a video being an obvious possibility. So far the phone has been under Apple-like security; test devices have been encased in a plastic cover to hide what the final design will really look like.

We will be sure to keep you updated on what is revealed later on today, so be sure to check back then.

KitGuru says: With the Apple-like security also comes Apple-level hype, will Samsung's flagship smartphone live up to it?
