LG Nexus spied in clearest shots yet

A very possible, and likely LG Nexus smartphone has been making a strong statement in recent days with leak after leak. Overnight, more images of the LG E960 codenamed “Mako” have been revealed with some specifications.

As you might expect, the LG device is noticeably larger than the iPhone 5.

The reported specifications include a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, a 8 MP camera and strangely a mere 8 GB of storage. Considering there is only a few pound difference between 8 and 16 GB this particular specification is not final. Meanwhile the display will be a 4.7 inch, 1280×768 IPS unit, although some of these pixels will be replaced by the on-screen Android navigation buttons.

KitGuru says: LG's smartphones have gotten more than their fair share of criticism but this E960 Mako is shaping up to be a really nice device.

KitGuru Games: The Best Console is the One in Your Pocket

Emulation is the saving grace of the video games industry. Despite its controversial nature, the technology will be the only way in which all games are preserved for the future – free from licensing agreements and other such nonsense. Better still is the fact that in a majority of cases, emulation allows for a more accurate recreation of the game’s original experience than official offerings, due to countless complex shaders, filters and tweakable settings. And the best part? Thanks to the progression of technology, your humble smartphone is able to do all this and more – giving you the power of 10,000 games in the palm of your hand.
