Xbox console exclusive ‘High on Life’ seemingly coming to PlayStation

One of the biggest Xbox Game Pass success stories for 2022 was that of High on Life – a comedic first-person shooter with a unique set of weapons and abilities. Releasing day-one as a Game Pass exclusive back in December of last year, it would appear as though the title is set to make its way onto PlayStation soon.

As discovered by ResetEra user ‘ForthU’ the PlayStation Network tracking site ‘orbispatches’ was recently updated to include a backend package known as ‘High on Life’, suggesting that the Xbox console exclusive might soon find its way onto PlayStation platforms.

Lending further credence to this notion is the fact that the publisher ID for High on Life is the same as Trover Saves the Universe – another title by Squanch Games which is already on PlayStation.

While the game feels somewhat tainted due to its heavy association with Justin Roiland, High on Life remains a ‘highly’ fun time and so for those who have yet to try the game, its upcoming arrival on PlayStation presents an opportune time to do so. It will be interesting to see whether the PlayStation version adds any extra content.
