Nearly a dozen games are leaving PS Plus next month

Sony’s revamped PlayStation Plus service seems to be somewhat of a success so far, with the console manufacturer in essence offering their own take on Xbox’s Game Pass. As with Game Pass however, Sony removes titles from the service on a semi-regular basis, with August set to see almost a dozen games delisted.

As reported by the PlayStation-focused publication ‘Push Square’ Sony announced the full list of games set to leave PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium on the 15th of August:

  • Borderlands 3 (PS5, PS4)
  • Nidhogg (PS4)
  • DCL – The Game (PS4)
  • Yakuza 0 (PS4)
  • Yakuza Kiwami (PS4)
  • Yakuza Kiwami 2 (PS4)
  • GRIP (PS4)
  • The Crew 2 (PS4)
  • 8-Bit Armies (PS4)
  • Carmageddon: Max Damage (PS4)

While not an insignificant number of titles are leaving, it is fortunate to see that PS Plus’ major heavy-hitters remain for now. That said, if you did want to give any of these games a try, you have a little under a month to do so.

In case you missed it, July’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium games are now available, including the likes of It Takes Two, Sniper Elite 5, The Ascent, World War Z and more.
