Adobe ship Creative Suite 6

Adobe announced that Creative Suite 6 (CS6) is now available.

The new suite contains the latest versions of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Flash Professional. They are shipping four different versions called Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium; Creative Suite 6 Design Standard; Creative Suite 6 Production Premium; and Creative Suite 6 Master Collection.

David Wadhwani, senior vice president of the Digital Media Business at Adobe said in a statement “We announced Creative Cloud and CS6 two weeks ago and these releases have caught the imagination of creatives everywhere. Today we're shipping CS6 and look forward to the beginning of an exciting new era as we introduce Creative Cloud later this week.”

The CS6 lineup has a new user interface design. They have said that there are new features which streamline the creation of responsive content and give websites and apps a consistent appearance across virtually all screen sizes and form factors.

Pricing has been announced in America. $2,599 for CS6 Master Collection, $1,899 for CS6 Production Premium, $1,899 for CS6 Design & Web Premium, and $1,299 for CS6 Design Standard. There are also upgrade and educational pricing options, and volume licensing options.
