The Samsung Galaxy S III is coming to all major UK carriers

Following Thursday's announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S III, the local UK carriers have been quick to to indicate that there will be wide availability of the flagship phone later this month. Just like with the HTC One X, the Galaxy S III will launch on all major carriers. This list includes Vodafone, Three, Orange, T-Mobile and O2. Many of these carriers plan to stock the handset from the 30th of May.

The Samsung Galaxy S III will be launching on all the major UK networks later this month

Vodafone UK will exclusively have the 32 GB edition for a limited time, while everyone else will have the 16 GB version at first. In reality this isn't a big deal since it does have a MicroSD slot, unlike the HTC One X or the iPhone.

Free of contract the Galaxy S III will set you back around £500 by judging early pricing from Carphone Warehouse and Clove. These prices currently mark the Samsung £30 above HTC's One X. However, chances are these prices will shuffle around before the end of May.

KitGuru says: Be sure to get you pre-orders in early, the Galaxy S III is bound to sell faster than hotcakes.

  1. No word on Australia

  2. The big three carriers across the ditch here (NZ) have announced they’ll be carrying the S III, interesting to see there hasn’t been anything said in Australia. Waiting for US/LTE versions perhaps??
