The Ratchet & Clank series is making its long awaited debut on the PC platform. The formerly PS5 exclusive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart releases on Steam today and just ahead of launch, Insomniac has now confirmed that the game is Steam Deck verified.
Sony has been pretty good about supporting the Steam Deck with its PC releases, with each game getting Steam Deck verification. That trend will continue with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, with Insomniac confirming that the game is Steam Deck Verified from day-one. Steam Deck verification essentially means a game has been tested and confirmed to support Valve's handheld gaming system, the Steam Deck, although in some cases, titles do need some extra tweaking from users to get running.
The PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will feature ray-traced reflections and shadows. Moreover, it will support ultrawide aspect ratios (21:9, 32:9, and 48:9). For controllers, there's full mouse and keyboard support with customisable controls and full controller compatibility.
For those seeking unrivalled performance, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC will also support unlocked framerates and integrates the latest upscaling technologies, including Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS. Additionally, the game supports NVIDIA Reflex for enhanced responsiveness and Nvidia DLAA for improved image quality.

KitGuru Says: I picked this up on PS5 last year. The game is visually stunning and with additional graphics options on PC, we should be able to crank up the visuals even further.
