Yesterday me mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy S III family might not get a 64 GB model in addition to the already available 16 GB and 32 GB flavours. However, Android Central has been in contact with Samsung and they got this as a response from a spokesperson:
“The 64GB model of the GALAXY S III will be available during the second half of this year. The market availability and timing may vary and will be determined at the time of release.”
So it looks as if those storage buffs will be able to experience up to 128 GB of storage after all. However, “market availability” is the key wording here. It does not strictly mean it will come to your region, and we won't be surprised if it doesn't arrive on many shelves. Last year when Samsung released the Galaxy S II they said a 32 GB version was coming, however it was only made available in Taiwan if my knowledge serves me correctly.
KitGuru says: It's good to see that those who need excessive amounts of storage in an Android smartphone will be able to get their hands on it later this year.
