It is not a big surprise at all to hear that Samsung's Galaxy S III is selling well, after all it was said a couple of months ago that they had collected over 9 million pre-orders. We also rated it a 9/10 in our recent review.
Today a Samsung Senior executive by the name of Shin Jong-kyun told reporters that in excess of 10 million units have been sold. This also means that Samsung has reached their goal of 10 million units sold by the end of July – which it has done with over a week to spare.
No specific numbers were given such as whether this figure is for units sold to retailers or the number sold to consumers but it's a remarkable figure regardless. Furthermore, Samsung says they hope to ship 20 million Galaxy S IIIs by Autumn.
KitGuru says: Congratulations on the milestone Samsung.
