The Apple iPhone 5 may be the hot news right now, but Samsung are still riding high in the sales charts with their Galaxy S3.
Mobile analytics group Localytics have filed a report which shows that sales are still very strong for Samsung. Since August 1st, the sales of the S3 have seen a weekly growth of 9 percent with big spikes after the Apple lawsuit verdict and iPhone 5 announcement.
The S3 sales have increased by 16 percent from August 21st to August 27th.
Interestingly, it would appear that the ‘negative' verdict has helped drive more sales for Samsung. Some of the sales may have been due to the public feeling that Samsung might have had a sales block on these products.
Another spike in the graph shows an increase in sales between September 11th and September 17th, an increase of 15 percent. Apple announced the iPhone 5 on September 12th.
These figures are very healthy, showing a weekly growth rate of 9 percent.
Kitguru says: Apple are not killing Samsung sales. Which is good to see.
Personally, when i look at no stock for iPhone 5 and i see the new Galaxy S3 readily available. I don’t think about brand loyalty… i think about what im missing out on as far as the latest in Smart phones goes. Because anyone can guess, that the latest is always the fastest.
There is nothing more useless than a slow SmartPhone
S3 is going well, everyone knows the s3 is a much better spec’d phone than the iPhoen 5 !
It seems like you have pulled together quite the little following finally!
I’m pleased to see it!
