Samsung claim iPhone 5 infringes eight patents

Samsung are gunning for Apple, and have said that the iPhone 5 breaches eight of their patents. The electronics giant have filed an amendment to their lawsuit against Apple.

Samsung say that they are questioning the use of six utility patents and two standard essential patents.

Samsung issued a statement which read “we have little choice but to take the steps necessary to protect our innovations and intellectual property rights.”

A Federal judge has issued an order which dissolves a three month old ban on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the US.

Kitguru says: The legal action between Apple and Samsung shows no signs of stopping.
