Remote controlled car used to test Nokia Lumia 920’s image stabilisation

Just under three weeks ago Nokia presented their Windows Phone 8 line-up, part of which was the Lumia 920. The flagship device includes PureView technology and one its main features is improved image stabilisation for smoother video and better low-light camera performance. The former has been uniquely tested, and compared to Samsung's Galaxy S III.

In the test a Lumia 920 and Galaxy S III are mounted to a remote control car and driven around to test the image stabilisation features of either device. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czIrXlkNHOw']

The video captured by the Lumia 920 is noticeably smoother than the Samsung offering, where bumps are easily noticable. While the colours also look to be improved on the Nokia.

KitGuru says: The Lumia 920 looks to be appealing to those needing a decent camera without the bulk of a separate device.
