Samsung denies price hike for Apple mobile processors

Earlier in the week we reported that Samsung is now charging nearly 20 percent more for the production of Apple's mobile processors. This includes those found in the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. However, this report may have been unfounded.

The Hankyoreh, a Korean newspaper has been informed by an anonymous Samsung official that prices are agreed upon at the start of each year and “aren't easily changed.” It has also been revealed that Apple and Samsung currently have a supply agreement through to 2014 and that unless “special cost factors” occurred then pricing has stayed much the same in the past.

KitGuru says: At least Apple will still maintain their ever-high profit margins.
